This assignment directs students to consider the character traits Gordon has exhibited through the first three readings. This is preparatory work leads to a character sketch unit. I have offered the traits I think are important and suggest that the students recognize how they are exemplified in the novel. They must write sentences and give evidence. This information also is a foundation for the collaborative tabloid that follows.
